Judge's Comments:I’ll start by mentioning that I have a predisposition against moon pieces. So few that I have seen have made a positive impression on me. I had to throw that predisposition out with this piece. Wonderful atmosphere and color – chilled me to look at it, yet invited me into it. A great first impression that has continued each time I look at. And I so like the subtleness of how the moon was handled – focusing me more on the effect of the moon ‘s light below rather than the moon above. - Scott Jones
