Judge's Comments:Great representational art is based on abstracting the shapes and design. If you broke this painting into sections they may not read because of their abstract quality. But when you view it as a whole. I surrender. The subtly of the cool transition of the distance is also handled very well. Once you follow the path in the foreground into the painting you will have a great time walking back in and discovering all the interesting places to stop. - John Burton
