Judge's Comments:Classic, California landscape, large shapes, nice design and very accessible to the viewer. The path in the forefront just leads the eye into and through the landscape in a very easy way. I like the contrast between the foreground the background and the nice play on lights and darks. I also enjoyed the way the tree on the left stands alone to be lighted by the sun. It creates a perfect transition from the trees to the right.
