Judge's Comments:The composition and design in this painting is wonderful. I also enjoy the contrast between the man-made and organic objects in what is essentially a still life. The composition is clever and the color is well-achieved. The dimensionality of the painting is also something to behold. This is a very complex work of art yet in Jeffrey's hands it looks so easy, almost second nature. Jeffrey has such a great ability to be able to paint so detailed as this and then pull back and be so painterly in the next work. So much talent showing here.
