Judge's Comments: Attitude” couldn’t be better named. This little painting can barely contain the energy of an animal the split second before he moves, jumps, barks, and everything else that he has in his bag of tricks. I particularly enjoy the lively brushwork, as it contributes to the entire mood of this work. I appreciate the successful handling of edges; the artist has kept sharp edges at a minimum, creating a focal point and movement within the canvas. The edge management is well- handled by the subordination of the fur and its integration into the background. - Chris Saper
