Judge's Comments:Usually I am not attracted to highly rendered pieces, but I can't ignore the skills required to paint this type of painting. The artist's attention to detail, good drawing and the very nice composition make this a compelling piece. The driftwood is wrapped in delicate grays and pleasant distribution of elements make this a very nice painting. - Robert Spooner
