Le Marais Twilight by Jennifer McChristian

Judge's Comments: I Kept returning to look at this painting. The interesting things kept pulling me in were the fabulous suggestion of such a simple, everyday scene, but the slice of light makes it very special. This is wonderful for the bits of yellow warm light contrasting with the dark green on the front. There is also a nice use of brush technique, drawing and color harmony. Beautiful!!! - Calvin Liang
